  • Do you have a reliable vehicle?

If this describes you, then one of the member organizations of Wellington Transportation Services is the place for you to put your talents to work!

Wellington Transportation Services, a collaborative network of community based transportation providers, is currently seeking VOLUNTEER DRIVERS in all areas throughout Rural Wellington (Centre, North and East) to assist community members who do not have access to transportation. The target population for this program is seniors, low income families and individuals, adults or children with a disability. However it is open to the broader community as well for those whose access to transportation supports are limited. Requests for transportation are filled on an as needed basis. No specific scheduled commitment is required on the part of the volunteer. Driver preference for destination distance is accommodated. Mileage is reimbursed.

This is a joint recruitment drive for volunteers for member service providers of Wellington Transportation Services. These providers include: The Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington, VON, Fergus-Elora Senior Trans, East Wellington Community Services.

Please Note: Volunteers are able to choose which of these organizations they will be affiliated with.
