The Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington (CRCNCW) is seeking passionate community members to join our volunteer Board of Directors. As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are proud to build on our long-standing history as a trusted community partner, continuing to create meaningful impact across the region and strengthen our communities. We are looking for individuals who are purpose-driven and committed to supporting those most in need, while helping to foster a community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
About Us
CRCNCW is a community benefit agency serving residents across North and Centre Wellington. Through programs such as Licensed Childcare, EarlyON Child and Family Centres, Outreach and Support Services, and Community Transportation, we work to address service gaps and strengthen supports for individuals and families across our communities.
Our Licensed Childcare programs provide safe, nurturing environments for children from toddler to school age, led by Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and supported through Ministry of Education licensing and CWELCC funding.
EarlyON Child and Family Centres offer free, high-quality programs for families with children from birth to six, creating opportunities to learn, connect, and access support from early years professionals.
As a key community agency, CRCNCW also supports individuals and families experiencing financial instability, poverty, housing challenges, and homelessness across Centre Wellington, Wellington North, Minto, and Mapleton. Through wrap-around supports and responsive programming including financial assistance, housing supports, transportation coordination and children’s programs, we promote stability, well-being, and self-sufficiency across the lifespan.
Our vision is a community where every member has the opportunity to succeed, and we are looking for dedicated leaders who want to help advance that vision.
